Zhirkov Transfers to Chelsea

Hello to all Russia fans. There is big news in the Russian transfer market. Yuri Zhirkov has completed his transfer today (6 July) from CSKA Moskva to Chelsea FC.

This is obviously a monumental move in his career. Zhirkov is a very valuable addition to Chelsea but I am afraid he may sit on the bench as Ashley Cole and Florent Malouda cover the left side of the field. However he may provide valuable cover for the two after the departure of Wayne Bridge. It is also interesting to mention that according to ESPN, Carlos Ancelotti is open to using Zhirkov in the center of the midfield or the defense.
