Roman Pavlyuchenko out for 3 weeks

October 7th, 2008 | By: j | 1 Comment »

Roman Pavlyuchenko will miss the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches as he suffered an ankle injury in Tottenham’s match against Hull.

I’m waiting on word of a replacement.

So who would you like to see?

Hiddink called up Sychev! That boy’s career is OVER. He’s hopeless, unless the ball is made of $100 bills, I doubt he will run after it. I would of preferred Kerzhakov (as super-sub), especially as Denisov is now on the squad!

I’m much more worried about the absence of Kolodin and even Torbinsky, than the absence of Pav… since unlike other teams, our goals come from all over (I’m thinking Zyrianov in this match) and not solely from the strikers.
