Roman Pavlyuchenko leads Tottenham to victory

January 3rd, 2009 | By: j | No Comments »

Russian international Roman Pavlyuchenko led English side Tottenham to a 3-1 victory over Wigan with two goals. The former Spartak Moscow man who moved to the Spurs on August 27 of last year for a reported £14m has responded well since Harry Redknapp took over the north-London club.

The recent success has not dispelled the fact the Roman apparently is available on the transfer market. With rumours in the fall that he was not pleased with life in London, could the door be open for him to return to Russia?
